Make time for yourself in early spring to reconnect, reflect and set intentions for the year ahead. With Spring there comes new optimism; it’s a time for renewal. We’ve made it through the darker months and we’re starting to see signs of new growth; flowers are starting to emerge and come into bloom, the days are getting longer, the birds are singing and we’re starting to spend more time outdoors. In nature everything seems primed and charged – ready to thrive and flourish. There is a sense of anticipation for the year ahead; we are on the cusp, readying ourselves for action and transformation.

This weekend of day retreats in early March is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself. By creating space to listen to the whispers of your soul you can move forwards with renewed clarity and energy, rediscovering the joy that is within you so that it can infuse into all dimensions of your life and allow you to thrive throughout the year ahead.

There is the option to come to one or both of the days. The retreat day mornings will comprise of welcome teas upon arrival, yoga with me, free time for walking or relaxing in the hot tub, followed by a delicious and nourishing lunch. After lunch we’ll spend some time reflecting through a guided journaling session with me, followed by a restful, meditative afternoon practice. The day will end with a gong bath with Carole Love.

THE YOGA

I will guide you through a yoga practice combining asana, pranayama and meditation to allow you to connect with your body, your breath and your mind. Through releasing tension and creating space in the body and the mind there will be the opportunity to peel away any stresses and strains which are on the periphery to bring greater focus to what lies within. The yoga practice will be suitable for all levels of experience, including those newer to yoga.

THE JOURNALING SESSION

I will guide you through a journaling session which will be interwoven with yogic philosophy. This will allow you to reflect on your inner landscape, creating space for you to be fully present. With a renewed sense of clarity, there will be time to set intentions for the year ahead.

THE GONG SOUND BATH

Sound healing is one of the oldest and most ancient forms of healing and dates back thousands of years. The sacred sound of the gongs produce frequencies that can help resolve emotional, physical or spiritual dissonance; helping us find balance and harmony.

During the sound bath the gongs will generate waves of sound that intersperse with and bathe over your entire body – reaching parts of you that aren’t always reachable with other modalities. These powerful gongs are invaluable tools for stress reduction and personal transformation, allowing you to rediscover your true sense of self and reconnect to your own inner peace.

As a qualified Gong Practitioner, Carole Love is a registered member of The College of Sound Healing. She is also a qualified Health Kinesiologist and Biofeedback Practitioner. Her passion and joy is helping to bring transformation and a deeper sense of connection to those who are seeking real change and a different way of being - be this on a physical, mental, emotional or spiritual level.
