Saturday 25 November 2017, 10.00AM – 4.00PM
Bletchingdon Village Hall, Bletchingdon, OX5 3FD
This retreat day is an opportunity to immerse yourself in Hatha Yoga; to give yourself the time and space to be in the present moment, to let go and to bring a little more clarity to your world. The yoga will be deeply nourishing, allowing you to restore and recharge, and will leave you feeling energised and revitalised.
In the morning, the yoga practice will consist of meditation, pranayama (breath work) and asana (physical postures), allowing you to find space in the mind and in the body. We’ll then have a nourishing, warming lunch as a group so that you have the opportunity to get to know your fellow yogis, followed by a short walk in the surrounding countryside to bring some fresh air into your lungs and a glow to your cheeks. In the afternoon we’ll have a slow, restorative yoga practice to revive and rejuvenate every part of your being.
Lunch is included and will be a hearty soup or stew, plus a nourishing salad and healthy treats for dessert. All food will be vegetarian, gluten free and refined-sugar free. Any other dietary requirements can be catered for; just let me know. The yoga equipment is provided but please bring wellies or walking boots and a warm waterproof coat so that you’re cosy on our walk.
All experience levels are welcome, including beginners.
The investment is £75.
