Join me for a nourishing three night retreat in a stunning country house on the heritage coast of West Wales. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down and take time out for yourself in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Unwind and restore, indulge in yoga and delicious healthy food, breathe in the invigorating fresh sea air and allow yourself to simply relax. No matter how you feel when you arrive, you’ll leave feeling calm and revitalised.

The venue

Secluded style and luxury awaits you on the west coast of Wales. We will be staying in a beautiful Georgian Grade II listed house with spacious comfortable bedrooms, stylish modern bathrooms, a stunning kitchen and several cosy lounges. You will have plenty of space to unwind, relax and restore, whether you’d like some quiet time to yourself or to be together with the group.

The house is beautifully positioned in five acres of gardens and woodland on the outskirts of Tresaith village. The golden sandy beach at Tresaith, on Ceredigion’s Heritage Coast, is on the doorstep, and with the coastal path just a stone’s throw away, you will have plenty of opportunity to explore the stunning countryside on foot.

The yoga

There will be two Hatha Yoga sessions a day, including meditation, pranayama and asana. The morning session will be more dynamic to awaken the body and mind ready for the day ahead. The evening sessions will be gentle and restorative to allow the body and mind to soften and release. There will also be a short guided meditation after dinner each day to allow you to completely relax before bedtime. The retreat is suitable for all experience levels, including beginners. The small group size will allow me to work closely with each person and to tailor the classes to deepen your individual yoga practice over the course of the weekend.

The food

Linda, our lovely hostess, is a professional chef and she will be preparing all of our meals. She uses locally sourced produce and eggs that come from her own hens. All meals will be vegetarian, and free from gluten and refined sugar. The weekend will be the perfect opportunity to nourish and replenish your body, so that you leave feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated. Any special diets can be catered for; please advise me of any specific requirements when booking.

The day plan

After tea and a few healthy nibbles, every day will start with a short silent walk to allow you time to breathe in the fresh coastal air and connect mindfully with your day. We’ll have a big brunch after the morning yoga class and then there will be plenty of free time to read, walk, have treatments and just simply relax. Food will be available throughout the afternoon so that you can have a light lunch at your leisure.

On Saturday and Sunday there will be optional activities in the afternoon; a yoga philosophy chai & chat with me on Saturday afternoon and a vegan cooking demo lead by our hostess Linda on Sunday. These are included as part of the retreat package but they are optional, so if you don’t fancy them the time is yours to spend as you wish. Massages and other treatments are also available at extra cost. After the evening yoga class we will have a delicious supper followed by a guided meditation and then you can float off to bed when you wish!

The bedroom options

Prices are per person and include accommodation for three nights, yoga classes and use of yoga equipment, meals and all other activities as shown in the retreat day plan above. The bedroom options are as follows:

Double bed with en suite bathroom £450 per person (double occupancy) or £495 per person (single occupancy)
Double bed with shared bathroom £425 per person (double occupancy) or £470 per person (single occupancy)
Twin bed with en suite bathroom £450 per person (double occupancy)*
Twin bed with shared bathroom £425 per person (double occupancy)*
Triple bed with shared bathroom £425 per person (triple occupancy)*

*If you are coming alone and would like to share a twin or triple room I will pair you up with someone. If you would like to share a room with someone in particular please let me know.

Details of what to bring, the specific venue location, treatment bookings and other additional information will be provided 6 weeks before the retreat.

Travel

The cost of travel and travel insurance is not included in the retreat price. Car sharing can be arranged.
